Getting started
How do I set up my subjects?
On first launch, or later from Settings, pick your six subjects and set HL or SL for each. Inside a subject, Create Unit lets you group syllabus points the way your school teaches them, and Exam countdown records upcoming tests with the topics they cover.
How do I practise one concept?
Learn › open the subject › type in the search field at the top. Each result offers Lesson, Questions, MCQ and Cards for that exact syllabus point.
How do I save a question?
Tap the bookmark on any question card while practising or in the past-paper view. Choose Unsorted or a folder, or create one on the spot. Your library is under Learn › subject › Saved questions, where you can sort by marks, type or topic and practise a whole folder.
Tutor and marking
The tutor says AI is off
The AI tutor and AI marking are free and run through Syllabo's server, so they need a connection and a free online account (a new install gets its first day of AI as a guest). Sign in from the Tutor tab, and check that AI is on in Settings › AI marking and tutor. Without AI, written answers are still marked on your device against the mark scheme.
Where are real past papers?
The app ships original IB-format questions. Real papers are IBO copyright and are not bundled. If your school gives you access, type or paste their questions in under Learn › subject › Saved questions › Import, and tag each one with its syllabus points and marks.
Accounts and friends
I forgot my password
On the sign-in screen tap Forgot your password? Online accounts get a 6-digit code by email; enter it with your new password. Accounts kept only on this phone are reset with Face ID, Touch ID or your passcode.
Friends cannot find me
Check Friends › Discoverable by username is on, and share your exact @username. With online accounts, friends can be on any phone; both of you need an online account.
How do I delete my account?
Account › Delete account. This deletes the account and all of its study data from this device immediately and, for an online account, deletes it online too. It cannot be undone.
Mac and iPad
Does it run on Mac?
Yes, as a Mac app. Everything, including the essay workshop, is available on Mac.
